Since the Dotty House moved to a more central location within Low Fell it has become even more popular, with busy mams and dads on the school run taking advantage to pop in and purchase some of its original gifts.

Sitting on the corner, the old building was extensively re-modelled so that this charming and quirky shop could take up residence and it is a pleasure to behold.

The shop specialises in unique personalised gifts, but it has so much more.

Scarves, jewellery, gifts and items for the home are displayed beautifully. They also do a great range of cards, picked this one up and chuckled all the way to the till.

You can also order online but don’t be tempted to do that and never visit, it is a wonderfully sweet emporium of  original and perfect gifts, many of them Geordie-themed (so obviously that’s a thumbs up from me!).

Rumour has it they are expanding over 2 floors AND opening a cafe next year. What a fabulous addition to little Low Fell, to have such a delightful shop to visit and purchase some adorable items for my home and family and then relax in a such a pleasing atmosphere with a coffee. I for one can’t wait.
