Okay, so a few months ago I mentioned in a post that I had placed an advance order with Garden Grocer to have some supermarket supplies delivered to us at our hotel in Florida. So as promised at the time, here is the review!!

We ordered about $80 worth of stuff, including bottles of water, crisps, bread, fruit, biscuits and cereal bars. We weren’t on a dining plan as we elected to wait and book when there was a free nights offer, which for just the 2 of us, worked out cheaper than the free dining offer. Phew!!

We placed the order online and also added to it a few weeks before we arrived, which was easy to do. I made sure my email address and mobile were in my Garden Grocer profile so that they could contact me. This is what we ordered:

The delivery slot I chose for our check-in day was 4pm-9pm. We arrived at the hotel around 6pm and were in our room around 6.30pm. After a bit of unpacking we headed down to the food court to purchase 2 refillable mugs and grab a bite. It was around this time I received a text that my delivery was here!!! So around 7pm we headed to Bell Services next to the Reception and gave our name. The Cast Member found our 2 large bags of groceries straight away and offered to bring it up to the room for us. We looked around the gift shop for a bit then headed to our room and found the groceries waiting on our Mickey Mouse table!!

The whole process was absolutely flawless and the products we ordered were lovely. The bread and fruit (always a gamble when you can only see photos online) were some of the nicest we had tasted. The supplies we ordered (with the exception of the bread and fruit) lasted the whole 2 weeks and were so convenient to help out with quick last minute snacks before heading down to the pool or if we were running late for a FastPass (we’ve all been there!!). The crisps and biscuits were also used at times to supplement salads and wraps from the food court, as these items can be quite expensive buying multiple times and really add up over the whole holiday. I can’t recommend Garden Grocer enough and we’ll definitely be using them on our next trip.
